Business cards have not been transferred automatically to Salesforce yet

These may not be cards that are not considered for the transfer process, or they may have been transferred, but there was an error on the Salesforce side. If you need to do this quickly, please try the manual transfer procedure.

 

  • If these are cards that are not considered for the transfer process:
    • If the settings for the transferring user are not complete in Sansan:
      Please check to see that the Sansan user who would like to transfer cards is registered as such. For more details, see here.

    • If the recognition as same person process is not complete:
      So that duplicate business card data is not sent to Salesforce, the recognition as same person process is done before transferring the cards. If the cards have just been changed into data, please wait for around one week.

    • If it is a card that was sent to Salesforce in the past:
      If you have deleted data in Salesforce, then you can retransfer the data by editing the content of the business card and then saving it. However, merely adding a tag and then removing it will not be recognized as editing the card, so that will not make it transfer.

    • If this is not the newest business card for this person or for this company:
      The cards that are transferred to Salesforce are only the most recent cards from all of the cards held by all Sansan users.

  • If there is an error on the Salesforce side:
    • If you have enabled duplicate management on the Salesforce side:
      Please disable this from the Administrator screen of Salesforce. The setting can be changed from "Setup", "Administration Setup", "Data Management", "Duplicate Management".

    • If you have disabled a user on the Salesforce side:
      If you have disabled a Salesforce user who had been allowed to access Salesforce, you will need to enable this user again, or allow them to connect as a new user. For more details, see here.

    • If the profile of the transfer target Salesforce user is neither standard user nor system administrator:
      If you are attempting to transfer to a Salesforce user whose profile is neither standard user nor system administrator, in some cases the cards will not be transferred.
