Details about this person

Q. What is the difference between the Business card details screen and the Details about this person screen?

A. The Business card details screen is information about one business card. The Details about this person screen is information viewable in a list connecting multiple business cards from the same person (cards recognized as the same person.) At the top you can see the most recent information.

Q. When I clicked the name, there was different information than in the business card image. Why is that?
(I tried to open a business card in Japanese, but a card in English came up).

A. The most recent business card information, the information about this person is being displayed. To open up the Business card details screen, see here.

Q. I cannot edit (correct) a business card. Why is that?

A. Have you opened the Details about this person screen by mistake? Open the Business card details screen, and then edit. For how to open the Business card details screen, see here

Q. When I update a business card, will the information about this person by updated as well?

A. It will not.If you would like a business card you update on the Business card details screen to be used on the Details about this person screen, also make the date received the most recent.

Q. I have two separate Details about this person screen for the same person. Why is that?

A. These have not yet been recognized as the same person. Please wait until Recognition as the same person is complete. (When this is done, the Details about this person will be brought together, and the information on the card with the most recent date received will be used.)

Q. What is displayed as the most recent business card is not actually the most recent business card, and I would like to correct that. How do I do that?

A. From the Business card details screen, change the date received to a more recent date.

Q. If I want to see all the tags added to a card, what should I do?

A. This is possible from every Business card detail screen. (However, more than 20 tags cannot be viewed at once).

Q. Will all the memos I write be visible on the Details about this person screen?

A. Yes, they will. If you do not want them to be seen, you will need to set them as private.

Tags

Q. From where can I add and remove tags?

A. You can add and remove tags from each Business card details screen. For how to open the Business card details screen, see here.

Q. If the same tag is added to multiple cards of the same person, how will it appear?

A. On the Details about this person screen, they will appear as one tag.

Card History

Q. Can I change the order of cards in history?

A. You can do this if you edit the date received for the relevant cards. You can edit this if you are the holder of the card or if you have permission to update all data. (Unless one of these conditions applies, you cannot do this).

Memo

Q. Where do I do memo input from?

A. You can either select "Edit" from the Business card details screen, or from the Details about this person screen select "Edit". For how to open the Business card details screen, see here.

Q. How can I change the order of the memos displayed? (I would like more important memos to be displayed first).

A. You cannot change the order of the memos. (The display order is based on date received of the business card).

Bulk mailing

Q. Will the email address used for bulk email delivery be the email address on the most recent business card in Details about this person?

A. No, the email address used for this will be the one on the card with the relevant tag added to it. Please be aware that these emails will be sent to addresses on business cards with tags attached to them.

Q. If in the following case, if Mr. Tanaka forgets to add a "Do not send" tag, but Mr. Sato has added one, will the email not be sent to this Mr. A?

If both cards are added the delivery target tag.

A: Email will be sent. Even if the recipient is tagged as unacceptable for delivery, if the selected recipient is not excluded via the tag, the recipient will receive the email.
