Manage accessibility of departments

Company administrators can edit the accessibility settings on a department basis. Learn more about changing accessibility settings on CSV file.

Broadly, the process involves 2 parts.

  1. Just like creating tags in order to create email recipient lists, before assigning accessibility privileges, multiple patterns have to be created whereby certain function's certain fields are visible and others are hidden.
  2. Once patterns are saved, they can be assigned to departments.

Steps to take

Create accessibility patterns

1. Click Admin Settings then Accessibility Settings.

N.B. Only users with the same privileges as the company administrators are authorized to use this function.

2. Click Create/edit accessibility pattern.

"ALL" means all fields of all functions can be viewed. This setting is fixed and cannot be edited or deleted.

3. Click New and enter Pattern name and Descriptions.

4. Tick fields to make visible and click Save, which will send an email to the company administrator to notify the changes made.

5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to create new patterns.

Assign patterns to departments

Administrators can either collectively assign patterns on multiple departments, or assign patterns on an individual department basis.

Apply patterns collectively

1. Click the icons beside the department names.

2. Select a pattern and assign it by clicking Set pattern.

Apply patterns individually

1. Click the icons placed in the table's cells.

2. Select a pattern and assign it by clicking Set pattern.

Continuing on from step 5.
6. Click Confirm to proceed.

7. Edited cells are shown in red. By clicking Save then OK, an email will be sent to the company administrator to notify the changes made.
