Here we will show a procedure to be used when the characters of a business card data download are garbled.
The cause of this may be that in an English version of Office the language encoding does not match.
Files downloaded from Sansan will be in "Shift JIS" format.
Procedure for avoiding garbling
To avoid garbling in English versions of Office, the following procedure is necessary.
1. Select "Import data from text file".
2. Select "CSV file".
3. From the character encoding, select "Japanese (Shift JIS)".
4. For delimiters, select "Comma". For strings, select double quotation marks.
5. Start import of data.
