I got locked out of my account / Reissuing a password

When any user tries logging in, and they make a mistake with their password five times in a row, this person's account will be locked. After this, even if the user inputs the correct password, he or she will not be able to log in. Here we will show how to unlock accounts.

Process for unlocking accounts (Password reissuance)

 Step 1: Unlock account / Reissue a temporary password
 Step 2: Log in with this temporary password
 Step 3: Change password
 Step 4: Log in regularly

Note

-The guidance email for Unlocking account / Issuing temporary password will be sent to email addresses (including sub email address) registered in Sansan. If you do not know what email address you registered with, please speak to the administrator in your company. (The subject of the email to be sent will be "Information Regarding Reissuing Password").
-The same password is used for Sansan for PC, the Smartphone Application, and Sansan for Mobile. If you are locked out of Sansan for Mobile, please use Sansan for PC, go to the log-in screen, and click on "If you have forgotten your password" to do the procedure for reissuing a password.

Rules for setting passwords

-The password must be 8 characters or more
-Only sigle-byte characters can be used
-The password must contain a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.
-The password must contain a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.


Procedure

1. When your account is locked, the following screen will be displayed. Click on "Reissue password here".



2. From the password reissuance screen, input the email address registered to your account, and click on "Reissue password". * You cannot reissue a password by inputting your sub-email address.



3. When you click on "Reissue password", the following screen will be displayed. A temporary password will be sent to the email address of the accessing user, so please check it. The subject of the email will be "Information Regarding Reissuing Password".
* If when reissuing you make a mistake in inputting your email address, "Please check the mail sent to you" will be displayed, however, the temporary password will not be reisssued. If no temporary password is issued, please check the email address you are typing in.



4. Check the necessary value for logging in from the email, and then from the log-in page perform the temporary log in.


5. The Password change screen will come up. Please choose a new password of your choice, click on "Reset password", and then you can log in.
