Regarding input rules for files (For adding, changing, and deleting multiple users at one time)

Here we will explain the file input rules for when importing user names, permissions, and other user information from a CSV file. For how to do this, see here.

Item name Required Input rule Notes
Department * This department must have already been registered
  • Multiple departments can be specified by putting a semicolon between them.
  • If departments with the same name have been registered, please specify the department a person belongs to in the format "Department name=Department ID".
  • The department ID is 10 digits.If there are fewer than 10 digits, Excel may input zeros at the beginning.Add leading zeros to be sure there are 10 digits, and import the data.e.g., Sales Department = 0000123456
User ID * The following conditions are fulfilled: 1. It contains only one-byte alphanumbers and symbols(. - _ &)
2. It is 20 characters or less
If a non-existent User ID is specified, a new user will be added If an existing User ID is specified, that user will be edited
User Name * 60 characters or less  
Alternative Name   256 characters or less  
Email Address * The following conditions are fulfilled: 1. It contains only one-byte alphanumbers and symbols
2. It is 100 characters or less
Same email addresses cannot be specified in one company 
Sub-Email Address   The following conditions are fulfilled: 1. It contains only one-byte alphanumbers and symbols
2. It is 100 characters or less
 
Start Using Date * When adding new users, the date must be today or later. Divisions are made by slashes or hyphens E.g., 1999/01/01、1999-01-01 After usage has started, this cannot be changed
Language (Display Language for System)   For Japanese, input "ja"
"For English, input "en" 
" For Chinese (simplified), please input "zh-Hans"
If this is left blank when adding a user, the language currently displayed on the screen will be registered. If this is left blank when editing a user, no change will be made
Format for Incoming Email   For HTML format, input "html" For TEXTformat, input "text" If this is left blank when adding a user, this will be set to HTML. If this is left blank when editing a user, no change will be made
SAML Name ID     Same SAML Name IDs cannot be specified in one company
[Privilege] User Type   Input "0" to give regular user permissions
Input "1" to give system administrator permissions
Input "2" to give sectional administrator permissions
If this is left blank when adding users, regular user permissions will be given.
If this is left blank when editing users, no change will be made.
[Privilege] All Data Update   Input "1" to give this permission Input "0" to not give this permission" If this is left blank when adding a user, the permission will not be given. If this is left blank when editing a user, no change will be made
[Privilege] Download Cards, Reports   For downloading permission of only "My data", input "1". For downloading permission of all data, input "2". Input "3" to grant custom download permission (only for specified departments) and Input "0" to not give this permission If this is left blank when adding a user, the permission will not be given. If this is left blank when editing a user, no change will be made 
[Privilege] Bulk Email Function   Input "1" to give this permission Input "0" to not give this permission If this is left blank when adding a user, the permission will not be given. If this is left blank when editing a user, no change will be made
[Privilege] Opportunities   For usage permission of a general user, input "1" To give administrator level permission, input "2" Input "0" to not give this permission If this is left blank when adding a user, the permission will not be given. [Privilege] API Connect   Input "1" to give this permission Input "0" to not give this permission If this is left blank when adding a user, the permission will not be given. If this is left blank when editing a user, no change will be made
[Privilege] View Usage Record   Input "1" to give this permission Input "0" to not give this permission If this is left blank when adding a user, the permission will not be given. If this is left blank when editing a user, no change will be made
[Privilege] Download Company,Organization Tree   Input "1" to give this permission Input "0" to not give this permission If this is left blank when adding a user, the permission will not be given. If this is left blank when editing a user, no change will be made
Account status   Enter "inactive" to inactivate a user. Enter "active" to reactivate an inactivate users. An error will result if "inactive" is entered when adding a user. Leaving the field empty when editing the user will result in no change.
Delete Flag   To delete user, input "1"  An error will occur if you enter "1" when adding a user..If this is left blank when editing a user, no change will be made

 

Other input rules
Users on other contracts cannot be edited or deleted.
Users who currently have cards that are transcribing cannot be deleted.
Users currently undergoing "Change Holder" cannot be deleted.
The situation cannot be created where not even one person has system administrator level permissions.
The situation cannot be created where not even one person has Opportunities administrator permissions if Oppoertunities is being used.
The number of users cannot be zero.
