Changing access privileges using a file (access control)

You can change access privileges in bulk via CSV file import. Read here to find out how make changes individually.

 

Requirements

Admin privileges are required to use this feature.

 

What to do

1. Click "Admin settings">"Access privilege settings”.

 

2. Click "Add or edit access privilege patterns" to go to the "Access Privilege Pattern Settings" page.

 

3. Click "Import from file”.

*Be sure to use the import format file provided on the next page. Note that the “Download File" option is for export only and uses a different format.

 

4. Click "Download file".

 

5. Select the separator/delimiter for the CSV file and click "Download”.

 

6. Edit the exported file.

Refer to the input rules for each field below.

Field Required Input rules Notes
Access privilege pattern ID   ・Set by the system to identify the access privilege pattern. Do not edit this.
・No input needed when creating a new pattern. Leave this blank.
 
Access privilege pattern name ・Within 20 characters  
Description   ・Within 50 characters  
Each department ・Enter the accessible field setting name ・If left blank, no access will be granted to any field.
・An error will occur if the entered accessible field setting name does not exist.
Delete flag   ・Enter "1" to delete ・An error will occur if you enter "1" when creating a new pattern.
・Access privilege patterns in use cannot be deleted.

 

7. Select the file you created or edited.

 

8. Review the file contents.
The first few rows will be shown. Check for any issues with the content or delimiters. If needed, revise the file and upload again.

 

9. Click "Start import”.
