The scanner is not working / If "The ScanSnap power has been disconnected" is displayed

Here we will explain what you can do if the scanner is not working or if "the ScanSnap power has been disconnected" is displayed.

 

What do to

1. Disconnect and reconnect the USB cables between the tablet PC and the scanner.
2. Disconnect and reconnect the power cords of the tablet PC and the scanner.
 *Also try disconnecting and reconnecting the DC adapter of the scanner.
3. Disconnect and reconnect the tablet PC and the docking station (only for DELL and HP).
4. Reboot the tablet PC and the scanner.
