Summary
Here we will show you how to do searches through business cards using tags. You can use multiple conditions when doing these kinds of searches.
Note
There are two ways to search by tags.
1. Search from the tag
Searching for the tag only is simple way to search for things.
From "Search from tags", check that the business card holder is set to "My data", and the search results will be displayed.
2. Search from the advanced search screen
This is how to do searches based on multiple conditions such as "Multiple tags *" or "Tags and Name" from this screen.
(*) When the search conditions are multiple tags, then OR, AND, NOT searches will be done.
1. OR Searches
: Specify two or more tags, and the results will be cards that have one or the other tags attached to them.
(For example: Search for either "2009 Seminar participant" or "2010 Seminar participant")
2. AND Searches
: Specify two or more tags, and the results will be cards that have all of these attached to them.
(For example: Search for both "IT-related field" and "our clients".)
3. NOT Searches
A search method that includes some tags but does not include other tags.
(For example: search for "Companies that have been sent seminar guidance" and "Companies that have not participated in seminars").
How to do searches
1. Search from tags
1. Click on "Tag Search"
2. Click on the tag name.
3. The Advanced search screen will come up.
The tags you specified will be added as search conditions, so if you click the "Search" button, business cards with this tag attached to them will be extracted.
2. Searching from the advanced search screen
This is how to do searches based on multiple conditions such as "Multiple tags *" or "Tags and names" from this screen.
Click on "Advanced search" from the upper right of the homescreen.
1). OR Searches
For example: Search for either "2009 Seminar participant" or "2010 Seminar participant"
1. From the advanced search screen, click on "Add" of tags.
2. From the "Add Tag Search Criteria" screen, select two tags at the same time, and click on "Add".
3. The tags you selected will be displayed on the Advanced search screen. Then press "Search".
2). AND Searches
For example: Search for both "IT-related field" and "Our clients".
1. From the advanced search screen, click on "Add" of tags.
2. From the "Add Tag Search Criteria" screen, choose the "IT" tag and click on "Add".
3. Click on the "Add" button again.
4. Select the "Client" tag, and click on "Add".
5. The following will be displayed. Please then press the "Search button".
3). NOT Searches
(For example) Searching for "Companies that have been sent seminar guidance" and "Companies that have not participated in seminars".
1. From the advanced search screen, click on "Add" of tags.
2. From the "Add Tag Search Criteria" screen, choose the "20100430 A Company seminar" tag and click on "Add".
3. Click on the "Add" button again.
4. Select the "20100515 Seminar participant company" tag, and from one of the chosen tags, select "unattached", and then click "Add".
5. The following will be displayed. Please then press the "Search" button.
